Contributor Requirements
Before submitting an article to Blogticles, please make sure your content meets the requirements below. These guidelines help us maintain useful, credible and enjoyable content for our readers.
What We Look For
Useful, Reader-Focused Content
Articles should provide genuine value through useful information, practical advice, informed opinion, experience, insight or entertainment.
Original Content
Content should be original or supplied with the appropriate rights and permissions. Articles must not unlawfully copy or reproduce material from another publication.
Relevant Subject Matter
Submissions should fit naturally within one of the current Blogticles categories and be suitable for a general online readership.
Clear & Readable Writing
Articles should be well structured, easy to understand and written in a professional standard of English.
Appropriate Links
Links should be relevant to the article and useful to readers. Excessive, misleading or unrelated promotional links may be removed.
Suitable Images
Any images supplied must be owned by you, licensed for use, or otherwise supplied with permission. Images should also be of suitable quality for web publication.
Business & Promotional Articles
Blogticles accepts articles from businesses, professionals, organisations and contributors, including articles that mention or link to a business or service.
However, promotional content should still provide genuine editorial value. An article should offer useful information, insight, guidance or an interesting perspective rather than simply operating as an advertisement.
Content We May Decline
Editorial Review
Every submission is reviewed before publication. Blogticles may make reasonable editorial changes to improve formatting, readability, headings, spelling, presentation, category placement or consistency with the site.
We may also request changes from the contributor before publication or decline a submission that does not meet our editorial standards.
Submission and payment do not guarantee publication where the submitted material breaches the Contributor Terms & Conditions or cannot reasonably be brought up to publication standard.
