CONTRIBUTOR TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms apply to articles and other material submitted to Blogticles for review and publication. By submitting content, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

IMPORTANT
There is no payment required to submit an article for review. Submission does not guarantee publication. If your completed article is approved, Blogticles will confirm the applicable publishing fee and invite you to proceed with payment.

1. SUBMITTING CONTENT

You may submit articles, images, author information, links and other supporting material to Blogticles for editorial review. You are responsible for ensuring that the information and material you submit is accurate, appropriate and supplied with the necessary rights and permissions.

There is no fee to submit an article for review. Submission of an article does not create an obligation for Blogticles to publish it and does not create an obligation for you to proceed with publication if the article is approved.

2. EDITORIAL REVIEW & APPROVAL

Blogticles reviews submitted articles for suitability, quality, relevance, presentation and compliance with our publishing standards.

We may approve a submission, request changes or additional information, or decline a submission. Blogticles retains editorial discretion over what is accepted for publication.

Approval means that Blogticles is prepared to proceed with publication subject to payment of the applicable publishing fee and continued compliance with these terms.

3. PUBLICATION FEES & PAYMENT

Unless another arrangement has been agreed by Blogticles, the standard Article Publication fee is US$95 per approved article.

Payment is not required when submitting an article for review. If your article is approved, Blogticles will confirm the applicable publishing option and provide a payment request.

You are not required to proceed merely because an article has been approved. If you choose not to make payment, the article will not proceed to publication.

Alternative pricing or volume rates apply only where they have been specifically agreed by Blogticles.

4. 30-DAY FEATURED PLACEMENT

An approved article may be eligible for an optional 30-Day Featured Placement for an additional US$50.

Featured Placement provides additional exposure in designated featured areas of Blogticles for approximately 30 days from commencement of the placement.

At the end of the featured period, the article will leave its featured position but will remain published normally, subject to these terms. Additional featured periods may be offered subject to availability and agreement.

5. ORIGINAL CONTENT & RIGHTS

By submitting material, you confirm that you own the content or otherwise have all rights, permissions and authority necessary to submit it to Blogticles and permit its publication.

Content must not unlawfully copy, reproduce or infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of another person or organisation.

You remain responsible for obtaining any permissions required for material supplied with your submission.

6. LICENCE TO PUBLISH

You retain ownership of your original content.

When an article proceeds to publication, you grant Blogticles a non-exclusive licence to publish, display, reproduce, format and promote the submitted material as reasonably required to operate and promote Blogticles and the published article.

This includes reasonable use of the article title, excerpts, images and other supplied material when displaying or promoting the article through Blogticles and its associated channels.

7. EDITORIAL CONTROL

Blogticles may make reasonable editorial changes to titles, headings, grammar, spelling, formatting, excerpts, images, metadata and presentation to meet our editorial, technical and publishing standards.

Where we consider that substantial changes to the meaning or purpose of an article are required, we may request revisions from the contributor before publication.

8. COMMERCIAL CONTENT & LINKS

Business, agency, brand and other commercial submissions are welcome where appropriate. Commercial content must still provide genuine information, insight or value to readers and must not consist primarily of advertising or excessive promotional material.

Relevant links to websites, businesses and supporting resources may be included subject to editorial review. Blogticles may edit, refuse or remove links that are misleading, unsafe, excessive, irrelevant, spam-style or otherwise unsuitable.

Blogticles retains editorial control over the presentation and technical treatment of links contained within published content.

9. IMAGES & OTHER MEDIA

You must own or have the necessary licences, permissions or authority to provide any images, photographs, graphics or other media included with your submission.

Where attribution or image credit is required, you must provide accurate credit information when submitting the article.

Blogticles may decline, replace, resize, crop or remove supplied media where reasonably required for editorial, quality, technical, rights or presentation purposes.

10. PROHIBITED & UNSUITABLE CONTENT

Submissions must not contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, infringing, malicious or otherwise unsuitable for publication.

Blogticles may decline or remove material that does not meet our editorial, legal, safety, quality or publishing standards.

11. SECURITY & SUBMITTED FILES

Documents, images and other submitted files must be safe and must not contain malicious code, malware, scripts or other harmful material.

Blogticles may scan, block, quarantine, reject or remove files considered unsafe or suspicious.

12. ARTICLE AVAILABILITY

Published articles are generally intended to remain available on Blogticles on an ongoing basis.

Blogticles may edit, update, relocate, temporarily disable or remove content where reasonably necessary for editorial, legal, security, technical or website-management purposes, or where the content no longer complies with these terms.

13. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

No payment is taken during the initial article review process.

Once payment has been made and Blogticles has commenced preparation, processing or publication of an approved article, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where Blogticles agrees otherwise.

If Blogticles is unable to provide a paid publishing service that has been accepted and paid for, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

14. NO GUARANTEED RESULTS

Publication on Blogticles does not guarantee website traffic, search-engine rankings, indexing, enquiries, leads, sales, backlinks retaining any particular search value, or any other particular marketing, commercial or SEO result.

Search engines, social platforms and other third parties operate independently of Blogticles and may change how they index, rank, display or treat published content and links.

15. CONTRIBUTOR RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and authenticity of material you submit and for ensuring that your submission does not infringe the rights of another party.

You must not knowingly provide false, misleading or unauthorised information or falsely represent your authority to act for another person, business or organisation.

16. MULTIPLE-ARTICLE & REGULAR CONTRIBUTOR ARRANGEMENTS

Blogticles may offer alternative rates or publishing arrangements for multiple articles or established contributors.

Any such arrangement applies only when specifically confirmed by Blogticles and does not automatically apply to future submissions.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Blogticles may update these Contributor Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to a submission will be those presented or made available to the contributor at the relevant time.

18. CONTACT

If you have a question about these terms or the contributor process, please contact Blogticles before submitting or proceeding with a paid publication.

By submitting an article to Blogticles, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Contributor Terms & Conditions and that you have the authority to submit the material provided.
